This is Thomas from your GMAT class. I just want you to know that I really had fun during that week and also learned quite a lot. After the course I kept on studying for 5 weeks and last Sunday I finally took the GMAT. Even if I did (or at least thought that) bad on the verbal and only average on the math part, I got a 710. This equals a .92 percentile and is also the average score in the SIM program in St. Gallen. Overall this is quite satisfying even though I could have done better. Thank you again for the great time and all the awesome hints (especially all the number property tricks, like the factor tree, base multiplication and so on…) Best wishes und “Alles Gute”

it’s me Sebastian, I took some classes with you in September and scored 610 then, today I took my GMAT again and scored 700 :-), Q 44 V 41, although I could have done better on the Quant part 😉 I’m really happy about this score, so I hopefully will be going to St. Gallen. For the quant part, I again started with the Benchmark Problems (combined with a Speed Drill every day). I always was around 60% on the GMAT, but the questions on the Speed Drill (where I was around 90%) were too easy, so I took the online Tests which are pretty hard stuff but that kept me motivated. One of my problems was that I was too quick, I sometimes finished the exams 20 min before the time elapsed, so I tried to take more time on every single question. However, I still could have done better because most of the questions I do wrong, I should know, I sometimes just miss the exit to the solution (and sometimes 2+2=5).
I just wanna thank you guys for the help you proved! You are doing a great job! Cheers, Sebastian

Got 660 overall score and the best news is that my verbal part with 38 was better than my math with 44 points. I have taken my GMAT exam today and ended up with a score of 710 points. I scored relatively low on the quant part (71% percentile) and compensated it with a good verbal part (95% percentile).

I hope you remember me; I took the GMAXX Class this summer for two weeks. I want to tell you that I finally took the GMAT again and scored a 700!!!!

I’ve just come home from my test. It didn’t go quite as I expected, the quantitative section was a real struggle, already got an ambiguous result for the first question and then came across a few random ones that I didn’t understand. Because I struggled straight at the beginning I then ran out of time at the end and had to guess the last 3 questions without looking at them. Verbal went extremely well, all questions there seemed really easy to me and I finished well before the time was up. Overall I got a score of 710, not sure though how happy I can be with this given that I only got 72 percentile for quantitative but then 92 for verbal. I know that quantitative is more important to INSEAD than verbal. How do you think they will view this score? Is it enough to be among the best applicants or do I have to consider doing the test again?

Here is a little test for you:

Boris took his first GMAT exam in April and scored 640 points.
This „relatively“ low score resulted basically from the fact that he thought he was a superstar and didn’t need any professional training.
In January he took his second GMAT exam, but this time he spent time preparing with the best GMAT trainers in the world ;). What was his GMAT score in January if his average GMAT score is 670 points and he did not take another GMAT exam besides those two?
A: 640
B: 670
C: 700
D: 720
E: 200
Detailed test results (first GMAT results in brackets)
Quantitative: 48 (46) points, and 84 (79) percentile
Verbal: 38 (31) points, and 83 (60) percentile
Total: 700 (640) point, and 90 (78) percentile

I’d like to thank you for your support on preparing for the GMAT. I finally scored a 650 with 35 verbal and 44 quantitative improved from 590 the first time. This is exactly the result I was looking for! Perfect!!! The tests you gave me were quite hard but helped me to manage the harder problems … On the AWA I scored 4.5 which is fine with such a little effort (one day preparation with your template).

Just to show you the fruits of your work: My previous GMAT score had been 640. Thanks to your good self and some preparation on my part I managed to bump that up to 720. The result is acceptance into the first of three of the top 10 European MBA’s which I have applied for – with results from the other two not yet finalised (but encouraging noises are emanating from their admission’s offices). Best of all is that the new GMAT score entitled me to a scholarship at Smurfit Business School (the threshold is 700), which as you can see from the e-mail below has already been awarded: This contributes 14,000 euro to the cost of my application. So it only remains for me to thank you for time well spent. As regards the content of the time we spent, I think the critical difference was made by two factors. Firstly the outline of the time management strategy was immensely helpful on the day. Secondly by thereafter honing in quickly on my weak areas and strengthening them we made efficient use of time.

I have really good news. I took a week off and confined myself at home. Practised all day from morning till night and finally I took the test this morning. And guess…710 (49 in the quants part; 38 in the verbal part) I really feel eased. My target was to get 700 plus XX. I am really glad because I couldn’t sleep last night at all a felt like shit this morning. I even thought about cancelling, but a strong coffee and many dextro energen helped me to wake up. So far thanks for your support, the classes and the material you gave me really helped. Now I have to take the TOEFL ASAP. But this is hopefully much easier than taking the GMAT.

Well I have much, much better news to report this time. I scored a 710 this time around. Very, very, happy. I believe I can now apply to the top schools. I felt I really understood what they were asking and what a right GMAT answer looked like. I’m still on cloud 9 and enjoying it. I do have to say that you helped me a tremendous amount. I thought you might be pleased to hear that I scored a 750 on my GMAT yesterday afternoon. The official score report will of course take a couple of weeks, but the essays felt ok. The breakdown on the unofficial score report was: 73rd percentile on the math, 99th percentile on the verbal and 99th percentile overall. Looks like you gave me the right exercises to get me over the math hump I was facing! A stone has fallen from my heart, let me tell you. Thanks again for all your help on this!

I think the good thing about your GMAT course is that you give individual as well as group courses that can meet the individual needs of any of your students; that you are capable of understanding the weaknesses and strengths of your students quickly and thus are able to focus on where support is needed. Thanks for your „around the clock-availability“ before the exam; thanks for trying to answer any kind of question, your patience and your capability to actually find a way to make problematic questions look much more simple. Especially the training of how and where to pace myself has helped me through the exam.

My GMAT preparation at the MBAhelp has been a major contributor to my performance on the test. The lessons provided me with a thorough understanding of the material covered by the test. Hence, I was very much in control on the test day regardless of the fact whether I had a good or bad day. I also appreciated the ownership staff at the MBAhelp took for the success of a candidate. It has been very important for me to get the impression that the GMAT was as much of a team performance as possible given the nature of the test. Hence I would like to recommend the program as an attractive investment for people who cannot afford to take any gambles with respect to the outcome of the test.

just wanted to let you know that I did the GMAT today and received a score of 700. I could have done better in the math part. The problem was that I probably spent too much time with the first questions, as I was afraid to make stupid mistakes. However, because I wasted too much time in the beginning, I did not have enough time to do all the questions. This really was a problem, since the questions really got difficult. The verbal part, however, was very good (93 percentile). Thanks again for your help. Without your instructions I would never have been able to achieve that score.

Just to let you know that I took the GMAT and scored 610 points. I scored 75 percentile on the math section but unfortunately the verbal section (as expected) wasn’t that good. I know that you are used to higher scores but this result is realistic for me and I am quite satisfied with the outcome. It will fit my purpose.

In a panic reaction I took the GMAT on Tuesday morning and – without really having been able to spend much time studying – was able to get a whopping 670 points! I was rather surprised because I definitely blew the first math question which I thought was about as complicated as setting the correct course for the Enterprise. Thanks for your support over the last few weeks. I scored 680. Now, my question is whether you think it is reasonable to apply at Insead, Kellogg, Harvard, Columbia, etc.? As I have understood until now, 680 should not be an exit criteria, right? So, if the rest of my application is convincing, chances aren’t too bad?
